Pending Invitations
See who's been invited but hasn't joined yet, resend reminders, revoke stale invites, and troubleshoot the most common delivery issues.
Overview
Every invitation lives in a "pending" state until accepted, expired, or revoked. The pending tab in workspace settings gives Admins full visibility — who, when, and what role.
Where to view pending invites
Open workspace settings
Click your workspace name, choose Settings → Members.
Switch to the Pending tab
Right next to the main Members list. The count badge tells you how many are outstanding.
Sort or filter
By send date, by inviter, by role, or by state (fresh / stale / expired).
Actions on a pending invite
Resend
Generates a fresh email with a new 7-day link. The old link is invalidated.
Revoke
Cancels the invite immediately. The link stops working — useful for typos or mind changes.
Skip the email entirely. Send the join link via Slack, DM, or any channel you control.
Change role before accept
Need to adjust the role before they join? Edit on the pending row — no need to revoke and re-invite.
Expiry & cleanup
Invites expire after 7 days for security. Expired invites stay on the list for visibility, marked clearly — you can resend them with one click, which generates a fresh link.
Troubleshooting
Check spam
Especially first-time invites land in spam for new domains. Ask them to whitelist no-reply@gryphin.app.
Wrong email
Revoke and re-invite with the correct address. The original link continues working until revoked, so don't leave both active.
Past expiry
After 7 days the link returns "expired." Click Resend — the email lands instantly.
Domain block
Some corporate firewalls strip links. Use Copy Link + paste it manually in your normal channel.
Better than email: invite links
Skip the per-person email path entirely. Generate one link and share it in Slack — anyone with the link can join.
