Inviting Team Members
Pick the right invite flow for your situation — one-off email, shareable link, bulk CSV upload, or domain-verified auto-join.
Overview
Gryphin supports four invite paths. Each fits a different team shape — pick by size, urgency, and how often new people join.
Four ways to invite
Email invitation
Paste 1–50 emails with per-person roles. Best for adding specific people one-off.
Invite link
Generate a shareable URL. Anyone with the link can join with the default role. Time-bound or evergreen.
CSV bulk import
Upload a spreadsheet with emails, roles, and starter boards. Best for migrating teams of 25+.
Domain verification
Verify a domain (e.g. @acme.co) and auto-join anyone signing up with that email. Set-and-forget.
Email invitations
Open workspace settings → Members
Click your workspace name in the sidebar, then "Members."
Paste one or many emails
Comma-separated or newline-separated. Existing members are deduped automatically.
Choose role per row
Default is Member. Bump to Admin, drop to Viewer, or flip to Guest if external.
Send
Each recipient gets a styled email with a one-click join link valid for 7 days.
Invite links
Best for kicking off a new team day-1 or any time you don't have everyone's email yet. Links can be revoked any time.
Evergreen link
Always works until you revoke it. Use for a team Slack channel.
Time-bound link
Auto-expires after a set period (1 day, 7 days, 30 days). Great for events.
Seat-bound link
Stops working after N people join. Useful for closed cohorts.
Audited usage
Each link tracks who joined via it, when, from what IP — visible in Settings → Activity.
Bulk CSV import
For teams of 25+, drop in a CSV with columns: email, role, boards. Up to 500 invites in one pass.

Domain verification
Best for companies. Verify your domain once, then anyone signing up with that email auto-joins your workspace at the role you choose (default: Member).
Open Settings → Domain
Available on Pro plans and above.
Add your domain
Type "acme.co" — Gryphin shows the DNS TXT record to add.
Verify via DNS
Add the TXT record to your domain registrar. Verification usually completes within 5 minutes.
Set the auto-join role
Pick the default role. Auto-joined members can be downgraded later — verification only sets the initial role.
Enterprise SSO + SCIM
Business plans support SAML SSO and SCIM provisioning. New hires join automatically; people who leave the IdP get deprovisioned the same day.
