Overview

Your profile follows you across every workspace. Configure it once and your name, avatar, and timezone show up correctly in every comment, assignee chip, and due-date reminder.

Profile fields

Display name

Shown on cards, comments, and @-mentions. Use your real name — teammates expect it.

Avatar

Upload a photo (PNG/JPG, up to 4 MB) or rely on the auto-generated initials.

Email

Used for notifications and password reset. Switch primary email anytime.

Bio & role

Optional one-liner that appears when teammates hover your avatar. Great for remote teams.

Notification preferences

Tune what reaches your inbox and what stays in-app. Default settings work for most people, but personal preferences vary widely.

1

Open Settings → Notifications

Reach it from your avatar menu, or use Ctrl+, anywhere in the app.

2

Pick a base level

Choose Everything, Mentions Only, or Nothing. Mentions Only is a healthy default.

3

Override per workspace

Want one workspace louder than others? Per-workspace overrides take precedence.

4

Set quiet hours

Emails pause outside your working hours. Pick a start, end, and timezone — Gryphin respects them globally.

Appearance & locale

Theme

Light, dark, or sync with your OS. Switches instantly without reloading.

Language

15 languages, with auto-detect from your browser. Affects UI, not card content.

Timezone

Drives due-date display and quiet hours. Auto-detected but always overridable.

Notification sound

Pick from 6 subtle sounds, or mute entirely. Per-device, not synced.

Tip
Add a clear, friendly photo. Teams move 2× faster when they can put a face to every comment and mention — especially for remote and async-first teams.

Lock down your account

Two minutes to set up, infinite peace of mind. We strongly recommend enabling 2FA on any account with workspace admin access.

Enable two-factor auth
