Two-Factor Authentication
Add an extra layer of security to your account with 2FA using a TOTP authenticator app.
How It Works
Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second step to your sign-in process. After entering your password, you will be asked for a 6-digit code from your authenticator app. This ensures that even if your password is compromised, your account remains secure.
Setting Up 2FA
- 1. Open Settings — Go to Settings > Security and find the Two-Factor Authentication section.
- 2. Toggle on — Switch the Authenticator App toggle to start setup.
- 3. Scan QR code — Open your authenticator app and scan the QR code displayed, or enter the secret key manually.
- 4. Enter code — Type the 6-digit code from your app to verify and complete setup.
Signing In with 2FA
After entering your email and password, you will see a verification screen asking for your 6-digit code. Open your authenticator app, find the Gryphin entry, and enter the current code. The code refreshes every 30 seconds.
Disabling 2FA
To disable 2FA, go to Settings > Security and switch the Authenticator App toggle off. You will be asked to confirm before it is removed. Your workspace admin may require 2FA, in which case you will not be able to disable it.
